In view of the ongoing imposition of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) by the National Government and in response to the prolonged effect of El Niño Phenomenon and Climate Change, we would like to inform you that the General Mariano Alvarez Water District (GMAWD) shall implement the following mitigating programs:
Lowering the Cubic Meter Minimum Consumption from 0-10 cubic meters to 0-5 cubic meters with Minimum Charge of ONE HUNDRED FORTY PESOS (PHP140.00) to all RESIDENTIAL SERVICE CONNECTIONS EFFECTIVE JUNE 2021 Water Consumption;
Suspension of Disconnection Works of Delinquent Accounts until the MECQ is lifted by the National Government; and
Acceptance of Partial Payments and Promissory Note and Implementation of Water Bill Payment Instalment Scheme during the imposition of MECQ. Note that when the MECQ is lifted, GMAWD will still accept Partial Payments and Promissory Note for those concessionaires who cannot pay their water bills on time.
